About me:
Sabri Wright - LMT, Pilates Instructor
I am a proud mother of two wonderful children.
Our favorite pastimes include staying active by playing at the park, kayaking, camping, immersing ourselves in nature, and traveling.
Throughout my life journey, I have faced various challenges such as anxiety, depression, low energy, lower back and hip pain post-pregnancy, and the tension in my neck and shoulders caused by life's pressures. I understand firsthand how tough these experiences can be and the feeling of isolation that can accompany them. Upon investing in bodywork and Pilates, I found much-needed relief.
By managing my pain and symptoms, I have been able to enhance my role as a mother, friend, significant other, and member of society.
This journey led me to establish emBODY Essence, aiming to offer support to others facing similar challenges. My goal is to assist you in overcoming obstacles so that you can fully engage in your roles and pursue activities that bring you joy.

My Approach and Methods
As a graduate of Irene's Myomassology Institute, my learned skillset has allowed me to tailor my sessions to meet the unique needs of each client. My approach is a combination of modalities, depending on your needs for the session.
Some of the modalities that may be used include:
Swedish massage techniques, Prenatal massage, Orthopedic-based massage addressing firing patterns, range of motion and stretching, neuromuscular techniques such as Myofascial Release and Trigger Point Therapy, Craniosacral Therapy, TMJ, Polarity Therapy, and Reiki.
I also am a Pilates teacher and fully believe in the method’s ability to help support the body in any way needed. Its focus on alignment and postural health sets a foundation for successful movement. Pilates is gentle and can be accommodated for any body.
For those who are currently pregnant or postnatal, Pilates helps support the needs of the mother's body to help her be successful during and after birth. The mind-body focused work of Pilates helps those struggling with mental health conditions restore a calm mind.
The focus of my work is geared towards women's health and supporting their needs at any stage of life. This includes women's mental health, pregnancy, postnatal, and active aging.
My unique combination of massage and pilates brings a well-rounded program helping to restore balance and harmony of mind, body, and soul leaving you feeling calm, grounded, and centered.
Allow the massage to unwind your body in the ways needed, and Pilates to strengthen the areas needed so you can feel at your best in your life. I look forward to working with you.
